In this practice you'll be guided to find new ways to move your body, develop physical strength, flexibility and balance in a gentle way. The exercises and movements we do will help to stabilize the deep muscles of the back to keep the spinal column flexible and strong. Additionally we do exercises for the face to improve muscle tone and smooth wrinkles to impart a youthful glow. We will complete the session with a deep relaxation. Afterwards you will feel refreshed and peaceful!

This practice combines centering floor stretches followed by exercises with the support of the ballet barre to provide a wonderful workout targeting core muscles, glutes and thighs. The barre offers stability and balance while deep breathing and stretching take you deeper into each pose with great form.

Private lessons are specifically designed to address your needs and to help you maximize the benefits of your exercise routine. I will meet with you to discuss your health goals, any injuries or physical limitations and together we will create a strategy for your personal practice. Private lessons are a way for you to individualize your learning experience at a pace that is comfortable for you. They are also helpful when you need to rehabilitate an injury and/or improve on your alignment, breath awareness, or learn modifications after surgery.

When I first practiced yoga over 40 years ago it helped to relieve pain in my body and I became more calm and peaceful. I wanted to share my revelation with others and began to teach yoga in a traditional way. Over time the flow of life moved me spiritually so that Jesus became my central focus. Gently flowing movement has given me a way to flow with God's spirit to help others.
I thrive on creating new ways to incorporate my personal yoga and dance training into other forms of movement that benefit all ages and levels of experience. In 1998 I opened the Yoga Path in downtown Lancaster, and had the pleasure of enriching the practice of many over those 21 years of operation. I now teach body restore classes and private lessons across Lancaster County.
